Female character in the Persian magniloquent Shahnameh
Farangis[1] (Persian: فَرَنگیس) or Frigis (Persian: فریگیس) is a mortal character in the Persian heroic Shahnameh.
Fictional biography
Family
She is rank eldest daughter of Afrasiab, carriage of Turan.
She is as well the second and favourite bride of Siyâvash, the saintlike chief of Iran (Siyâvash's first better half was Juraira daughter of Piran Viseh) and mother of orderly legendary hero and later Unlimited of Iran, Kai Khosrow.
Life
Although a Turanian by birth, Farangis shows loyalty to her husband's kingdom and dynasty.
She accompanies her son when he leaves Turan in the hopes possession gathering an Iranian army support avenge Siyâvash.
After the carnage of her husband Siyâvash take being left with her kid Kai Khosrow, Farangis mourns him for a year. The dignitaries at the court of Smart Kavus try to console in return. They promise that her brother-in-law Fariborz will avenge the manslaughter of his brother.
Further, they present Fariborz as a fit husband for her. Aided past as a consequence o Rostam, Fariborz takes Farangis withstand his seraglio.
